आज आप सीखाने जा रहा हूँ कि Past perfect tense के active voice sentence को passive voice sentence में कैसे बदला जाता है ? लेकिन उससे पहले आप जानेंगे कि Active and passive voice होता क्या है ? तो चलिए बिना देर किए सीखते हैं ।
Active Voice Of Past Perfect Tense
मतलब ” कर्ता वाच्य ” ऐसे वाक्य जिसकी शुरुआत हमेशा Subject ( कर्ता ) से हो जैसे –
- वह यह मूवी देख चुका था । ( He had watched this movie.)
- वह मुझे इस बारे में बता चुका था । ( He had told me about it.)
” Active voice ” के वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक भी हो सकते हैं; जैसे –
- क्या तुम यह फिल्म चुके थे ? ( Had you watched this film ? )
- तुम उसे यहाँ क्यों लाए थे ? ( Why had you taken him here ? )
Passive Voice Of Past Perfect Tense
इसका मतलब होता है ” कर्म वाच्य ” ऐसे वाक्य जिसकी शुरुआत हमेशा ‘ Object – कर्म ‘ से हो जैसे –
उसके द्वारा यह किताब पढ़ी जा चुकी थी । ( This book had been read by him.)
उसके द्वारा वह पीटा जा चुका था । ( He had been beaten by him.)
क्या तुम्हारे द्वारा यह होमवर्क किया जा चुका था ? ( Had this homework been finished by you ?)
उसकी तुम्हारे द्वारा मदद क्यों की गयी थी ? ( Why had he been helped by you ? )
Active and passive voice rules of past perfect tense
Past perfect tense active voice structure
[ Subject + had + Verb का तीसरा रुप + Object + Other word ]
Active voice examples :
- I had bought this car before you came.
- He had spoken English In the class.
- Had you read all chapters before your father came ?
- I had written a novel in English.
- Ravi had beaten him in the class.
Past perfect tense passive voice structure :
[ Active voice object का subjective form + had + been + verb का तीसरा रुप + Other word + by + active voice subject का objective form ]
Active and passive voice examples
A – She had prepared something special for me.
P – Something special had been prepared for me by her.
A – Ravi had found you stealing my book.
P- You had been found stealing my book by Ravi.
A- They had completed all the projects before I went to the office.
P – All projects had been completed by them before I went to office.
A- Heena had helped me to solve this problem.
P – I had been helped to solve this problem by Heena.
A – I had given him a book before you told.
P – A book had been given to him by me before you told.
( इस वाक्य में आप ‘ A book ‘ की जगह ‘ He had been ‘ का भी प्रयोग कर सकते हैं क्योंकि दोनो वाक्य के ‘ Objects ‘ )
P- He had been given a book by him before you told.
Negative Active voice Structure :
[ Subject + had + not + verb का तीसरा रुप + Object + other word ]
Examples :
- He had not spoken English in the class.
- They had not worked well.
- Heena had not seen you coming here.
- You had not written a letter to him before I came.
- She had not done his homework before father came.
- Ravi had not completed their homework before I came here.
- She had not told him the truth before you called.
- Neha had not spoken English before you taught her.
- You had not beaten him before the teacher came.
Negative Passive voice structure :
[ Active voice Object का subjective form + had + not + been + verb का तीसरा रुप + other word + by + active voice subject का objective form ]
Active And Passive Of Past Perfect Tense Examples :
A – I had not done this work before you came here.
P – This work had not been done by me before you came here.
( क्या आप जानते हैं कि ” Had” का प्रयोग कब, कहाँ और कैसे करते हैं ? यदि नहीं तो चलिए जान लेते हैं – Had का प्रयोग एकवचन और बहुवचन दोनों कर्ता के साथ Past Perfect Tense में किया जाता है )
Active – Rita had not told me a story.
Passive – A story had not been told to me by Rita.
Active – His father had not loved him too much before you came.
Passive – He had not been loved too much by his father before you came.
Active – They had not purchased a book form that shop.
Passive – A book had not been purchased from that shop by them.
A – Rohan had not repaired this car before you went.
P – This car had not been repaired by Rohan before you went.
A – Your brother had not read a book.
P – A book had not been read by your brother.
A – Ravi had not completed their homework before I came here
P – Their homework had not been completed by Ravi before I came here.
A – She had not told him the truth before you called.
P – He had not been told the truth by her before you called.
A – Neha had not spoken English before you taught her.
P – English had not been spoken by Neha before you taught her.
A – You had not beaten him before the teacher came.
P – He had not been beaten by you before the teacher came.
Interrogative active voice Structure :
(1) Yes/No type questions :
[ Had + Subject + ( not ) + verb का तीसरा रुप + Object + other word + ? ]
Examples :
- Had he learned something before you scolded ?
- Had he not watched this movie ?
- Had you never driven this car ?
- Had you not played cricket before your father came ?
- Had he not abused you in the class ?
Interrogative passive voice structure :
[ Had + active voice object का subjective form + (not) + been + Verb का तीसरा रुप + Other Word + by + active voice Subject का Objective form + ? ]

P – Was serial not being watched yesterday by them ?
A – Had he not taught you well ?
P – Was I not being taught well by Ravi ?
W.H. Word type passive voice questions :
[ W.H. Word + had + active voice object का subjective form + (not) + been + verb का तीसरा रुप + other Word + by + active voice subject का Objective form + ? ]

A – Why had he not cooked food ?
P – Why had food not been cooked by him ?
A – Who had spoken it ?
P – By whom had it been spoken ?
A – What had you seen there ?
P – What had been seen there ?

A – What had he done for you ?
P – What had been done for you by him ?
